Jhpiego internships provide an opportunity to develop skills that will help jump-start or advance your career. You will get hands-on work experience through a variety of projects. As a Jhpiego intern, you will gain knowledge, develop skills, contribute to deliverables and grow your professional network.

What is a general internship?

Internship opportunities are ongoing and occur throughout the year.

Eligibility: Full-time students at Johns Hopkins University (JHU).
Internship duration: Generally 2–12 weeks, depending on department and project needs.
Location: Baltimore, MD, and Washington, DC. Field-based internships are available on occasion.
Compensation: Jhpiego provides competitive compensation for JHU students. Some JHU practicum programs only allow for academic credit.
Housing: Housing is not provided; interns must arrange for their own housing.
